I recently went on a roadtrip with a close friend and we spent over 10 hours in a van together... granted we did an exceptional job staying off of our phones and taking-in the scenic drive and all of nature's wonders, we failed at checking-in on life and having the level of depth to our conversation you would expect from that amount of time spent together in a car.

It was almost as if I could only be 100% zoned on nature or 100% zoned on social media but, when it came to being 100% zoned in on a friend and their emotional state and well-being... I completely failed. 

Never forget to check-in with your friends, families, and honestly even strangers who may be going through it. You never know how a small act of kindness can truly changes someone’s day/life.
